HI EVERYONE! I'm back from my adventure camp! BUT i'm really missing it la. Let me blog what we do for the past few days.
2nd JAN 2008 Wednesday OKay, we met at Choa Chu Kang MRT station. Then took a bus into camp Christine at Lim Chu Kang. Have some Singspiration. Played some games led by Ngaip Tai. Then we bunk in after lunch. After that we went Geo Tracking together with my team, Eric, Emily, Roy, Christa, Yi han and me:D. Geo Tracking is something like navigation. OMG! So FUN! I love navigation. The GPS helped so much! LOL. But it rained, so we wore our poncho. Was like so uncomfortable. Eric was like so lame la. When we came back we had bike orientation. We cycled out to camp Christine and back twice. Was like so difficult as the road is very rocky! But not bad. haha. Then we cooked dinner, was a little bit screwed, cos too oily. LOL. After that we had session by Chien Chong. THE CALL-Service, Share gospel, Suffering and Sacrifice. Then we had a night cycling to the Christian cemetery because Chien Chong wanna us to see what are the words used to sum up their lives and we are suppose to find the youngest and the oldest person. It's not scary at all. It's quite touching to see how others remembered then as, like a loyal friend, a great person of integrity and honesty, a upright man. Cool right? BUT mostly I saw is John11:25 and dearly missed by loved ones. How you wanna sum up your life with one sentence? We cycle total 16km! haha. Then bathe and went to sleep.
3rd JAN 2008 Thursday Guess what we do when we woke up? Jogging! Which I abhors! argh. After that breakfast and Quiet Time:D then another session. THE COMARADIE-We are God's People, We anchored in God's word and We grow by God's grace. Then we had some team building games like electric current line, moon ball and number pad. We are team 3 and we combined group with team 6 and team 9. Okay, they are a bunch of fun people! :D After that we washed up cos the other group was preparing dinner. The we had our dinner. After dinner, have some singspiration. Someday is a nice song which is taught by Mr Ong. Then we had our preparation for The Race the next day. After that went to bed quite early.
4th JAN 2008 Friday hoho! Is the day of The Race. Which we have another new member:D Jason together with us. I'm supposed to Kayak, but can't cos I had cramps on my arm, argh. So I went to archery instead. Was kinda sad la. But who cares? haha. After we got our map we start to race. OMG! What can I say BUT FUN FUN FUN!:DD It's not at all tough la. We sang songs along the way and many things happened la. Till the end, we have to put mud on our face and bodies, but not all, thank God, no pimples. haha. We came back, took a bathe and nap. Then we had our BBQ. Boon Jin said I San-Mel, so I was like no, I'm San-Phleg. What's makes you think that I am San-Mel. So she said, look at your face in the morning during running, so I was like, LOL. Then, they start to bully me, saying I hoard their coke just because I'm from a different group. So my group people was like saying, aehh, don't bully Ruixin lehh, then Gloria says, is Ruixin bully us lo. So Boon Jin says, erm Gloria is a truthful person, LOL! Even Alex came and disturb me la.
5th JAN 2008 Saturday Woke up, and went for a run. THANKS, Mr Ong, Rachel and those who run together with me and at the same time make me laugh, haha. Then we had our sessions THE COMMITMENT. After that we clean up the camp, then make cert for one another, went for lunch with a few people and went church, a long and tiring camp! But, FUN FUN and FUN!:DDD
Pastor Ong, Waiyan, Samuel and Ethan left for Macau today, I miss them! I told Qiu Xuan they all my Pastor is leaving and I will surely miss him and his lame jokes. So Qiu Xuan said, ohh you rmb his lame jokes, but not his teachings. haha. I remembered la. He is a very firm man, he wants to see growth of the people, not the number of people. Thank God for such a good Pastor! :D
WELCOME ♥
Hi, thank you for visiting this humble space of mine. I don't blog as often as I used to because I no longer find any value in blogging daily affairs, although reminiscing the past is important because it's the past that made who I am today. But I will make use of other platforms. I would pop by here if I find any thought-provoking matters or current affairs that are worthy for me to pen my thoughts.
